Puma Evolution of Suede Finale Party ❤

Just came back from Vietnam on Thursday. Was feeling so sick but still I could not miss this opportunity to attend Puma Evolution of Suede Finale Party at Capsquare Hall, KL. I would like to thank Miss Shannon Chow for giving me the chance. This time, I brought my sister, Jamie Yeap along with me. Hee.

My sister seldom appears in my blog because she does not really like to attend events. (Actually depends on what kind of events though. She prefers events that involve cartoons mostly. LOL!) Anyway, here's a photo of us posing with the giant Puma shoes.

Sponsored by Tiger and Smirnoff, the Evolution of Suede Finale Party marks a grand celebration of the PUMA Suede's 45th year in changing the release of the future suede. That night, the event showcased the work of art of 30 artistic people whom envisioned the 2058 Future Suede and brought it to life.

We were given two beverage vouchers each to redeem our beer, vodka or soft drink at the event.

We were entertained with a night filled with music from the past and the present, as well as dance performance and any other interesting activities such as live graffiti and shoe designing by talented graffiti artists. (I still remembered I attended a graffiti workshop with DiGi and Nuffnang last time in Publika. Click here)

The hosts for the evening were Mr Dan and Shikara whom are the two prominent personalities in the Malaysian hip-hop scene. The night started off with an ‘Evolution of Dance performance by the winners of Showdown 2011, Elecoldxhot. At the event, the top 30 designs selected from the 160 entries received for the 2058 Future Suede design contest were exhibited.

The crowd was entertained by a beatbox performance by Koujee, the winner of Malaysia’s Tag-team Beatbox Battle 2011, along with a DJ battle between DJ Fuzz and H3, and an MC battle between Mio and Micwrecka. K-Town Clan later took the stage with other renowned Malaysian hip-hop artists such as CLoco, Samir Da Joint, Lady D, Waris and Juzzthin.

During the event, there was also a live graffiti by graffiti artist, Newba, as well as a live shoe designing by graffiti artists, Bee of PHBKLK, Iqbal of Fresh Kids, Carpet, Katun, and Nenok.

Live shoe designing by the graffiti artist. The one on the left is Mr Katun!!
Mr Katun's arts has always been my favourite. (Met him during the graffiti workshop last year in Publika)

A few shots of my sis and I taken during the event.  Sis basically fell in love with the giant puma shoes.

Shot #1

Shot #2 Look at her facial expression! *lol*

A few selca shots of us. :P Photos were taken using iPhone 5. I always forgot to bring my camera along whenever I attend events. I am such a forgetful girl! Wonder whether I will forget wearing shirt one day when I go out? Hmm...

Do we look alike here? *wide grin*

A shot of myself with my vodka. P.s: Just went Vietnam for three days and I looked super fat in all the photos! *cry*

It was kinda lucky that night. I did not expect to meet my uni coursemate. The last time we met each other was October 2012 which was our graduation day in Kampar. How time flies!

My coursemate, Seok Li and yours truly.  ❤

Three pairs of PUMA Suede were given out to three most creative Instagram posting with the campaign hashtags #ForTheStreet, #MY and @PUMA just before the event ended. I personally joined the contest too to see if I can win a pair of Puma Suede shoes for my sister.

And here's the photo that I have published in my Instagram with the caption: Does that belong to Big Foot?

The Future Suede is now available at PUMA outlets in One Utama, Bangsar Village 2, Pavilion KL, Queensbay Mall, Sunway Pyramid, Suria KLCC, and The Gardens.

P/s: I would like to thank Puma Malaysia and Miss Shannon Chow for the invites. =)
