Laneige Beauty Road with BB Cushion Tour ❤
Laneige, the global beauty brand is on its way to conquer all 7 cities around Asia with the debut of its global beauty project "Laneige Beauty Road". Malaysia was the 3rd stop following Bangkok and Singapore. I had the opportunity to be part of this Laneige Beauty Road when it was held in Kuala Lumpur recently.
'Laneige Beauty Road with BB Cushion' is the first global beauty tour of its kind, which aims to introduce the BB Cushion makeup trend to parts of Asia after it became a hit in Korea.
The BB Cushion, which was first introduced in 2011, has gained popularity with its multi-functional use and convenient touch-up anywhere, anytime. It has evolved from a must-have makeup item to a makeup trend in Korea. Most of you would have known that I have been a BB Cushion user for almost 3 years now. *wide grin*
Many of you know that Laneige BB Cushion comes in two types which are Whitening and Pore Control. The Laneige BB Cushion is now available in 6 shades namely True Beige, Natural Beige, Sand Beige, Brown Beige and the two new shades which include Pink Beige and Cocoa Beige.

There was a special appearance by Hwang Se-On, the Korea's celebrity model who offered modelling and photoshoot tips. She shared with us some of her beauty secrets in the workshop. We, the bloggers also had the opportunity to take a group photo with her. Oh my, did I tell you that she speaks fluent English too? Of course not forgetting that she is so tall and gorgeous! *jaw drop*

The Laneige Global Makeup team also offered makeup techniques to help one look their best in photos. Miss Cat Koh was there to give us some live demonstration makeup tips on that day itself. Miss Cat Koh, Laneige Korea Makeup Artist is a cute and funny lady and she speaks good English as well.
Miss Cat Koh started off with spraying Laneige Brightening Sparkling Water Capsule Mist before applying any makeup primer. This Capsule Mist is a fresh sparkling water mist made of highly-concentrated sparkling water capsules, a boost to clear and transparent skin through promoting cutaneous circulation by turning over the dead skin and fine carbonic acid massage with brightening effects (containing 47% of sparkling water).
Next is to apply Laneige Lumi Block Primer which is a primer that evens out the surface of skin and controls sebum to create a matte finish that blocks radiance. It helps to tightens the unevenness, pores and blemishes on your skin for a smooth finish with the net-like structure of pore smoothing complex. Use this primer as the first step of makeup and apply thinly on the cheeks, forehead and chin.
Next up is to apply Laneige BB Cushion Pore Control after the primer. This BB Cushion Pore Control from Laneige can help to achieve perfect, flawless and pore-free makeup finish as it is formulated to target large pores. It comes with 6 multi benefits with only 1 touch.

Miss Cat Koh showed us the next makeup tips by applying Laneige Brush Pact. This Brush Pact lets you choose different complexions with the quality silky brush that you want to achieve - Texture-improving Radiance, Matte Radiance and Splendid Radiance. She taught us to apply in circular motion especially on forehead, area between eyebrows, cheeks and jaw areas (areas with excessive oil) to prevent shine.
Next is to apply eyeshadow on the model's eyes. She used Laneige Pure Radiant Shadow in Cashmere Coral colour with a slight pink or coral colour on the eyes to achieve natural makeup look which is the trend in Korea nowadays.
Next up would be applying eyeliner on the eyes. Miss Cat Koh used Laneige Multi Shaping Eyeliner on the model's eye. To create the Korean makeup look, she suggested to us not to apply the liner according the shape of the eyes. Instead, she applied in between the eyelashes to create a more natural makeup look. She also mentioned that no winged look should be applied on the corner of the eyes as Korean makeup does not have winged eye makeup look.
She then applied in a zig-zag motion on the eyelashes by using the Laneige Volume Setting Mascara. This mascara helps to achieve curl silky, denser and defined lashes without smudge or clumping or flaking. The curl also stays for a long period of time.

Miss Cat Koh ended the live makeup demonstration with lipstick application. She used Laneige Two Tone Lip Bar to create a two-tone colour on the lips for a more lively and fashionable look.

The event was filled with never-ending activities and excitement. Among the attractions at the Laneige Beauty Road with BB Cushion' Tour are BB Cushion testing stations, free giveaways and fun games, complimentary makeover sessions with the help of Laneige makeup artists from Korea and also a contest with a daily prize.

With its unique tour, Laneige is on its way to conquer 7 major cities in 4 Asian countries starting with Bangkok, Thailand (17th - 19th July) followed by Singapore (24th - 26th July) and currently Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (27th July - 2nd August). Following Kuala Lumpur, the 'Laneige Beauty Road Tour' will land itself in China, covering various cities including Beijing, Xi'an, Chengdu and Shanghai (4th - 27th September).
