My Date with Beauty @ The Great Guardian Makeover ❤
Two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to go for the makeover with the rest of the bloggers at My Date with Beauty @ The Guardian Makeover which was held at 1 Utama. Thanks to The Butterfly Project for the opportunity to have a date with beauty. :D This event focuses on helping individual look and feel good from the inside out.
It wasn't a good day itself. Reached the venue at 10.30 am which was about half an hour late all thanks to the 3 stalled cars on the road which I was using to go to 1 Utama. Anyway, I apologised to Tammy for being late. =.=
The event started 5 minutes after I reached the venue. I was so stupid that I actually parked at the new wing and walked to the old wing thinking that the new wing is the old wing and the old wing is the new wing. I am so clever right? =.=
The event started off with performance by the dancers whom danced "Happy" by Pharrell Williams. It's one of my favourite song in my playlist currently. *wide grin* Here's the video I had uploaded in YouTube for my readers to see their performance. (:
Guardian, the leading pharmacy, health and beauty retail chain successfully organized the yearly Great Guardian Makeover since 2008. Each year, the number of participants grew and enthusiasm and excitement filled the event. While learning the makeup and skincare tips, participants also found it fun and engaging.

We were given a makeover, goodie bag and personalized photo to bring home on that day.
The hair and makeup partner of this event is A Cut Above Academy with a
total of 20 hair stylists and makeup artists attended to the
participants.
While waiting for my turn, I took photos of my blogger friends who were already doing their makeup and hair.
Sis Kelly from www.sunshinekelly.com. (:
I also spotted JQ which is at the opposite of our makeup table.

Sis Kelly was busy applying touching up her eyebrow. :P
I couldn't help but to take photos of myself while my makeup artist helped me with my makeup. I did the natural look because I prefer to go natural than going glam.
You can actually see that the makeup products that they were using were from Maybelline. I don't get to try the Lashionista mascara as it claims to have fuller and longer lashes with one application. =/
You can see the before and after my makeover look.
Before and After (:
While I was waiting for the hair stylist, I took the opportunity to #selfie with Angeline and Yin Yin. It's been awhile since I last saw Yin Yin. (:
Yin Yin, Angeline and yours truly. (:
At the same time, I took photos of Carolyn's hair makeover. The red hair is so mesmerizing and I love how they curled her hair. So damn pretty!

There were 18 brands participated in this year's event. They are L'oreal Paris, Maybelline New York, Alcon, Avene, Bio Essence, BioGrow Oat BG22, Biore, Blackmores, Brands, Dermatix, Enchanteur, Hada Labo, Nano White, Neutrogena, Nivea, Oslee, Palmer's and Safi.
While everyone was trying out the curled look, I took the chance to try on the rose hair style. And to my surprise that my hair was so smooth that it came off and I had the hair stylist to redo my hair and changed to curl look in the end. However, I was satisfied with the curled look as it created a different look of myself. Maybe I should try curling hair next time? *hehe*
Before and After.
During the event, I was devastated as my heels' strap was snapped while I was walking to the photo booth. However, this did not spoil my mood. In fact I was busy taking photos at the photobooth as they are running contest in Instagram and Facebook.
Cute sis Kelly with her props. (:
