[Food Review] Tommy Thongchai @ The Square, Jaya One ❤
It's been awhile since I have visited Jaya One and so much have changed since then. There are quite a number of new restaurants, cafes and bistros in Jaya One. One of it would be Tommy Thongchai which offers a unique Thai Fusion food.
Let me start off with the first dish of the day. This Tommy's Platter @ RM85 which consists of fried calamari, fried pork belly, fried pork giblets, pulled pork fries, luncheon meat fries, Chiang Mai sausage, Thongchai's Nachos, moo ping skewers is the perfect platter to go for if you are coming with a group of friends. It's the perfect dish to go with a glass of beer!
Yum Sum-O (Thai Pomelo Salad) is pretty unique to my liking. The salad comes with prawns, imported Thai Pomelo and yum som-o dressing which has rather interesting taste.
Sorry that I forgot to take photos of the place because I was too excited to enjoy the variety of food that were served on that day. Sorry guys! But rest assured that the place is super cool and amazing that it is perfect place to hang out with friends after work every day.

You can also order the individual charcoal skewers too which are ranging from RM5 - RM19.
Next up would be Thongchai Mango Salsa Nachos. This is not the usual flavour of nachos as they are served with mango salsa, wonton skins and coriander aioli. The nachos come in two sizes - medium (RM16) and large (RM28).

Dined here couple of times and our family had fun as always. Staff were fabulous, the food was authentic and delicious, the lemongrass and iced lemon teas totally hit the spot. The cocktails were not too bad but they tend to be a bit on the sweet side. However, the service was good and everyone was super friendly and efficient. My kids love this place too as there are ample of games and toys to keep the little ones occupied. Either way, my family and I are huge fan of this restaurant.
