[Beauty Review] Vella Cosmetics Ultra Hydro Sun Essence ❤

Hello readers! Today I will be reviewing sunscreen or sunblock product in my blog. Here's a short information on sunscreen and sunblock and what are the differences between these two. Sunblocks are formulated to shield against UVB rays, while sunscreens protect against UVA. In order to fully protect your skin, choose a broad-spectrum protection formulated sunscreen that will protect against both UVA and UVB rays. Fortunately these days, formulas often contain a mixture of both sunblock and sunscreen.

Vella Cosmetics Ultra Hydro Sun Essence

I was introduced to a sunscreen from Korean brand, Vella Cosmetics - Vella Cosmetics Ultra Hydro Sun Essence which I got it from Althea. What is the difference between sunscreen / sunblock and sun essence? They are essentially the same thing except that sun essence is more watery and runny so it's easier to absorb for oily for combination oily and dry skin

The texture is slightly runny and more watery

Vella Cosmetics Ultra Hydro Sun Essence contains SPF 50+ / PA+++ . The amount of protection offered by sunscreens is measured in Sun Protection Factor (SPF) units. The SPF level of a particular product indicates how long a person can remain in the sun without becoming burned. For example if you use a product with an SPF of 20, you may stay in the sun 20 times longer than if you did not use any sunscreen. The higher the SPF level, the greater the protection from UV radiation.

PA indicates the level of protection from UVA rays. PA means Protection Grade of UVA rays which is used to measure the SPF of a sunscreen. This ranking is based on the Persistent Pigment Darkening (PPD) reaction reading at 2 - 4 hours of sun exposure. The protective grade of sunscreen is often leveled as PA+, PA++, PA+++ with the more plus sign the more protection from UVA rays. PA+++ is designed for normal skin that expose to very strong UV radiation. It provides good UVA protection and it is the highest grade of UVA protection currently available.

Vella Ultra Hydro Sun Essence is an innovative sun essence feature with skin all-in-one basic care. It has UV protection, whitening and anti-ageing properties. This sun essence turned to water when applied to skin and its very gentle to skin. It also does not leave the skin feeling greasy after application.

This sun essence has no additives of paraben, artificial pigment, mineral oil, benzophenone, talc, benzyl alcohol, sulphate, perfectly safe and non-stimulating proven by clinical testing.

This Sun Essence from Vella Cosmetics contains 60% of Hawaii Kona deep ocean water, with 30 kinds of ocean plant extracts and 445 kinds of plant extracts.

This sun essence is convenient to be used on multiple times by layering them one after another as it does not feel sticky on the skin. I spent my whole life looking for sunscreen that is not sticky and greasy upon application. There are certain brands in the market that are not sticky and greasy to my liking but it was way too expensive. =/ Not until I found this Vella Cosmetics Ultra Hydro Sun Essence from Althea. (=

For a price of only RM58, I think this Sun Essence is worth investing especially for the reasonable price and no harmful ingredients contained in the product. For more details of the product, do check out at Althea website here: http://my.althea.kr/ultra-hydro-sun-essence. Thank you The Butterfly Project for the opportunity to review this. (=
