[Beauty Review] Dr Wu's Glutalight™ Whitening System + Daily Renewal Serum with Mandelic Acid ❤
Hello everyone! It's been awhile since I have sharing about beauty products and today I would like to take this opportunity to talk about the latest skincare range from Dr Wu's Glutalight™ Whitening System. This range is formulated to create the ultimate all-rounder whitener product.

Its star ingredient, Glutathione works to protect the skin from UV damage while suppressing the production of skin-darkening melanin. Do you know that Glutathione has been consumed orally as an antioxidant-rich skin lightening supplement and also the main ingredient for whitening injections? It comes with 5 effects (whitens, brightens dull skin, soothes and hydrates, reduces pigmentation and evens out skin tone in each bottle which creates perfectly white skin.

This Essence toner is a serum-like toner that can achieve all-in-one whitening effect quickly. The very first to use the revolutionary "Glutalight™" formula, containing the Japanese patented Glutathione which uses AA2G, HerbEx Silybum Extract™, Vitamin B3, B5, B6 and adds Allantoin to soothe skin, with whitening and moisturising effects.
It can also effectively decrease the appearance of pigmentation and lightens dull and uneven skin tone. It can be used during the day or as a facial treatment aftercare and is acid-free.
I personally love the texture of the Essence Toner. It is easy to absorb onto the skin and does not leave the skin feeling greasy. It also provides instant moisture to the face.

Another product that you should try. This whitening serum is packed with the highest concentration of whitening ingredients. It evens uneven skin tone and lighten dark spots, keeping you looking radiant within one bottle.
The texture on the other hand is slightly thicker compared to the rest but it absorbs pretty fast onto the skin. I would suggest to you to dot the serum on the face to avoid wastage.

Dr Wu Glutalight™ Whitening Eye Serum 15ml (RM179)

Since I have rather dark circles around my eye area, this product has become a must-use in my daily skincare routine. The texture is rather thick so I would suggest to you to use only a small amount around your eye area.
Surprisingly the eye serum is not sticky after application which leaves a rather comfortable feeling around the eye area.
- Repairs skin, making it bright and shiny
A lotion with lightweight creamy texture, which can decrease the appearance of pigmentation and also soothe and moisturise the skin. It can be used during the day or as a facial treatment aftercare.
I personally enjoy the texture of the whitening lotion. The application is non-sticky to the face and it creates somewhat a slight matte finish on the face and leaves the skin feeling moist at the same time.
For this Whitening Lotion, you only need a small amount of product on your face.
Skin looks brighter, more radiant with more even skin tone. I feel that my skin is more hydrated after applying the Whitening Lotion.

Mandelic Acid is one of the mildest ways to faster our skin metabolism rate, helping us to get rid of dead skin cells, hence, our acne scar or big pores can recover faster. It also helps to improve skin tone, minimise pore size and remove blackheads / whiteheads.
There are 2 types of Renewal Serum - Daily Renewal Serum and Intensive Serum with 18%. The one I have is the Daily Renewal Serum that has lower concentration of Mandelic Acid and can be used daily at night before toner. This Daily Renewal Serum is suitable for sensitive skin or dry skin.
Recently I have bad breakouts and large pores and this product came in time to rescue my skin. I personally gave it a try for a few days in a row since it can be used on daily basis at night. The texture of the product is rather watery. So bear in mind not to squeeze too much product using the dropper given to prevent spillage. I can't wait to show you the guys the drastic results after this.
Overall, I find that Dr Wu's Glutalight Whitening System range is not harsh to my skin. Especially I have bad breakouts which started a week plus ago, I tried not to use products that are harsh on my skin. To be honest with you, whitening products are never in my beauty wish list. However I know that I am in good hands especially Dr Wu's skincare are catered to different types of skin.
Personally I go for laser treatments once in awhile and most of the doctors would advise me not to use any products which contain AHA or whitening products and it's best to stick to products that provides hydration to avoid any post-inflammatory hyper pigmentation (PIH). Asians are mostly prone to PIH so it's best to avoid and try to use sunscreen each time before we head out especially we are living in tropical countries.
I was truly surprised when I came to know that Glutalight™ Whitening System can be used after your aesthetic treatments (when the redness has gone). The formula of this range is non-irritated and mild as it contains Vitamin B5, B6 to soothe the skin and stop inflammation on the skin. I have not come across products that can work on post-laser skin. So this range really caught my attention. How awesome is that? I am on my 6th day of using Glutalight™ Whitening System and I can't wait to share more photos with you guys soon! (=
