I'm so sorry that i have to type in Malay cause my assignment is in Malay. Here is the situation:
Seseorang ibu yang bekerja dari rumah dengan menjalankan urus niaga melalui internet bagi mengelakkan cukai perniagaan. Adakah perbuatan di atas wajar atau tidak? Berikan sebab-sebab mengapa perbuatan tersebut wajar atau tidak wajar.
P/s: Please include your name when you give me the reasons of the situation above. Thanks a lot! Your cooperation is deeply appreciated! =)
I'm not sure, it might be wrong according to the law.. BUT there are many people who are running this kind of business lately.. that's what we call the convenience of technology. If it's small business I think it's okay, after all does the government gonna bother much? If the Internet business is so well-known, probably have to declare la.. so it depends when considered from different perspective..
ReplyDeletesorry ya my BM kinda bad edy, gotta reply in English.. hehe.. =)

i guess not rational because according to law, if you start a business in the internet, you have to register before you start. By law, she is wrong. on the other hand, if she faced difficulty in financial problem, then this might be a way to help her to reduce her burden. Moreover, it only apply to some extent like the revenue cannot exceed some amount of money. Therefore, you can argue either way. Hope it helps. =P
ReplyDeletewell, this question is kinda subjective to the extent that it might be lawful and unlawful ... since, the Q never state the business levels ...
ReplyDeleteit can be lawful in terms of selling your personal goods or 2nd hand stuff for a quick buck from your own home on sites like e-bay ... it's also considered as business
while majorly, it can also be unlawful when you're trading goods and services in a massive manner without appropriate licensing from relevant Jabatan ... because your services or products might be deemed unlawful because it involves heavy taxation since it needs declaration ... you might jual liquors / cigarettes though she is only a housewife ...
therefore, they must abide by the law for such business ... err, generally, every business also require licensing whether you wanna expand it locally or globally because if any predicaments happened, at least you're insured by the law for following the codes ... therefore, it should be unlawful but Malaysia BoLeH !!!
so, in your conclusion, write MaLaYsia BoLeH ... and your lecturer will understand the meaning :-) ... hope you find it useful XD
it is against the law to run business without a permit. hence, doing so over the internet in order to not pay taxes is wrong. you must give back what you have received, therefore it is only fair that she pays taxes in return of what she has earned through online.
ReplyDeletehope this helps :)
