Travelar.com Bloggers Contest ❤

Thanks to Travelar.com and Nuffnang for organizing Bloggers Contest. As much as I love traveling, it's getting harder to go for holiday especially I am working now. It's not easy to apply leave to go on holiday when I have tons of work to work on.Anyway, It's been my dreams traveling around the world. And course today I would love to highlight about Bali and Yangon in my blog post today.

I will first talk about Bali. I want to travel  to Bali with Travelar because I know Bali is famous for beautiful beaches and culture. The beaches provide attractions which draws the travellers from all over the globe to this tiny Indonesian island including myself. (:

First thing I would love to do in Bali is to cycle around Ubud. The streets of Ubud teem with culture. Surrounded with artistic villages and working rice paddies which draws my attention to travel to this place. A night at Ubud is a must as I get a view overlooking the rice paddies. Setting my own trip of discovery of this place will be exhilarating. (: It will be a relaxing place to visit.

Secondly, I would love to surf in Kuta. The scene in Kuta is all here with bikinis on the beach, expat bars and clubs that go all night. Depending on the experience you expect toderive from travel, Kuta will either be a place to remember. Since Kuta wave breaks over sand rather coral, new riders do not exit the water grasping for gauze. Kuta Beach is a quick ride from the airport and full of cheap accommodations. If you possess some serious skills check out the legendary Ulu Watu break. KuDeTa is a seaside bar and restaurant that draws huge crowds and famous for overlooking the beautiful sunset view.

Next, go for a road trip to Lake Bratan if you want to visit Bali. It takes about 2 hours if you hire a taxi driver for a chauffeured road trip. The lake is home to the unbelievably photogenic cover-girl temple, Pura Ulun Danu Bratan. The mist hangs low, the air is much cooler and it all feels so right. This will be a perfect place to visit. Besides that, the next thing that I want to try is Babi Guling, or suckling pig, which has made a name for itself as Bali's main course. Ibu Oka has garnered some serious praise for its delectable hogs in Ubud.

So forget about all the destinations in Bali. Now we move on to Yangon. There are certain places that I want to go in Yangon. I want to travel to Yangon with Travelar because it would be perfect to know someone's culture from different country in South East Asia. (:

Every Yangon visit should include a trip to Shwedagon Pagoda, the country's most famous attraction. Surveying the city from atop a hill, it's easy to see why it's the nation's pride and joy. Thaketa Crocodile Farm is the next place that I want to visit. It houses more than 200 of the sinister species. It can be scary walking along the rundown bridge as the crocodiles are waiting below with their mouths open wide. But I guess this will be pretty challenging to visit this place. (:

Myanmar has 1,250 miles (2,000 kilometers) of coastline and some of the finest stretches of beach in Asia. Many beaches along the Bay of Bengal and Andaman Sea remain undiscovered by tourists and unspoiled by development. Many of them face west, so they produce great sunsets. The best known is Ngapali Beach, a 45-minute flight from Yangon, where almost two miles of white sand are lined with palm trees overlooking the Andaman Sea.

When the Burmese want to get a waiter's attention they make a kissing sound, usually two or three short kisses. It's the sort of sound you might make if calling a cat. Walk down 19th Street in Yangon's Chinatown and you'll hear that kissing sound a lot. This narrow, pedestrian-only street is where the Burmese come to drink. Restaurants line either side of the street and chairs and tables are set out in front. The local brew is Myanmar Beer and it's cheap -- about 60 cents for a glass of draught.

So why not travel to these awesome places? As much I Iove to. I hope that Travelar will realize my dreams to travel to these beautiful beaches and enjoying their culture bit by bit. (: Thank you Travelar for organizing this awesome contest. (:
