[Beauty Review] Cellnique Expert Series - Pigment Lightening Series ❤

Do you have any skin concerns? Have these bothered you before? Well oh well. I am pretty sure each of the ladies have skin concerns including myself. I was sort of 'gifted' to have pigmentation on my face since young. Well not to say that I do not apply sunblock each time I went out but I apply it on my face since I was 13. 

Ever since pigmentation has been my main concern, I was given the chance to try out the Pigment Lightening series from Cellnique Malaysia. The products that I am going to review today are Cellnique Advanced Bio Renewal Serum and Derma Whitening Essence.

Cellnique Pigment Lightening Series 

Pigmentation is the colouring of the skin. It is a skin condition where patches of the skin turn into a darker shade of colour due to excessive presence of melanin, found on skin surface. Melanin is produced by melanocytes and functions as miniature umbrellas to skin cells to protect the skin from sun and UV damages.

Cellnique Derma Whitening Essence

Derma Whitening Essence contains Idebenone, which helps to improve photo-damaged skin; and Licorice Extract, which treats hyper-pigmentation. It is a high performance lightening essence that effectively targets the appearance of dark spots to give skin an extraordinary radiance and natural colour. 

The serum itself is a bright yellow colour and the scent is rather strong but you will get used to it quickly. It has a light texture which spreads easily onto the skin. I like how it is hydrated enough that will leave skin feel moisturised despite its creamy texture. 

On the other hand, I noticed that it caused some itchiness on my face immediately after applying. This is normal as it has a mild tingling sensation on your skin. So I would normally put on some aloe vera gel on my skin after the application. This aloe vera gel helps to relieve the tingling sensation. However, I do notice the difference on my skin after a few applications. You can see from the above that the pigmentations on my skin are slightly reduced. *winkz* 

P/s: Do take note that this product can only be used in the day and only apply on the area that you wish to be treated. 

Cellnique Advanced Bio Renewal Serum

As for the night time, this Cellnique Advanced Bio Renewal Serum comes to the rescue. It helps to reveal a fresh, radiant and healthy-looking skin. This product is formulated with high performance ingredients likes Alpha Hydroxy Acid and Beta Hydroxy Acid. 

This light texture serum helps to promote cell desquamation which accelerates cell renewal. It absorbs quickly onto the skin without leaving any residue. This serum is lightweight and skin feels hydrated after applying too. This product also works to dissolve pore clogging debris, keeping skin clean and clear. It is effective in reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

This product has to be applied after cleanser, toner, your own serum and followed by this Advanced Bio Renewal Serum and lastly the moisturiser for a better results. I had to admit these two products from Cellnique seriously helped to improve my skin condition after 7 days of using them. I had no doubt on that. *winkz*
