[Beauty Review] 14-Day Journey with Physiogel® Calming Relief ❤

Holla peeps! I am back again and this time I am going to share with you guys my 14-Day journey with Physiogel® Calming Relief. Previously I have already updated a post about Physiogel® Calming Relief. You may check out the link here: http://janiceyeap.blogspot.my/2016/04/physiogel-calming-relief.html

Physiogel® Calming Relief range (:
Your skin has a natural, protective barrier that ensures it stays healthy by locking moisture in and keeping out harmful irritants, such as harsh ingredients and allergens. If the moisture barrier is compromised,  your skin is vulnerable and more likely to become sensitive and irritable to external irritants. This is where Physiogel® Calming Relief range comes to rescue.

Physiogel® moisturising creams and lotions contain an advanced formulation called Physiogel BioMimic Technology™, which contains lipids similar to those found naturally in skin. The lipids found in Physiogel BioMimic Technology protect skin cells, sealing in moisture. The skin cells, surrounded by the lipids, form a protective barrier, not only against water loss from the inside, but also from the entry of allergens from the outside.

In this way, moisturising creams and lotions containing Physiogel® BioMimic Technology works naturally with your skin and is clinically proven to strengthen and repair the moisture barrier, to keep essential moisture in and damaging irritants out.

The condition of my face back then. =/
Honestly speaking, ever since I got back from Spartan Race Asia 2016 which was held a month plus ago, my skin becomes more sensitive and most of the time I encounter dryness and redness on my skin especially my nose area. Nose has become dry and flaky ever since then and both of my cheeks become too dry and redness appeared too.

Physiogel® Calming Relief Gentle Cream Cleanser - RM49 / 200ml

Physiogel® Calming Relief Gentle Cream Cleanser is designed for dry, sensitive and redness-prone facial skin. This creamy texture leaves the skin feeling soothing and soft immediately after the first wash.

Besides that, it also helps to remove makeup, dirt and impurities on the skin. I like how my skin feels soft and clean after cleansing each time.

Next, I will be moving on to the face cream - Physiogel® Calming Relief Face Cream. In this range, they have two types of face cream - Physiogel® Calming Relief Face Cream and Face Cream Rich. The difference between Face Cream and Face Cream Rich is that Face Cream Rich targets to hydrate and repair super dry and sensitive skin.

Physiogel® Calming Relief Face Cream - RM69 / 40ml
Lightweight and fast absorbing cream
This face cream helps to target to hydrate, repair and calm the skin. This lightweight and fast-absorbing face cream helps to provide instant and prolonged relief from dryness around my nose area. After 14 days of usage, I noticed a visible reduction of redness around my nose area at the same time it provides hydration to my skin.

Be sure to apply around the neck as well as you do not want to have fine lines caused by dryness around your neck area. For this Physiogel® Calming Relief Face Cream, I apply it during the day.

Next up would be Physiogel® Calming Relief Face Cream Rich. This cream is specially formulated for very dry, sensitive and redness-prone skin. It is a rich and nourishing daily moisturising cream. For my skin condition, I would normally apply this during the night time.

Physiogel® Calming Relief Face Cream Rich - RM69 / 40ml

This Face Cream Rich works almost similar as the Face Cream but this reduces the distinct dry skin and redness on my skin. It's not too oily for me as it provides intensive hydration for my dry skin. Since I sleep in air-conditioned room every day, this cream works wonder on my skin as it is clinically proven to reinvigorate the skin's natural moisture barrier.

How to Know if You Have Sensitive and Irritable Skin?
You may find the information below:

1. You can see red patches
If your skin is sensitive, you may be prone to rashes or red patches appearing. Skin may also look scaly or rough. This is because the cells in the outer layer of your skin have been compromised, leaving your skin vulnerable to moisture loss and irritants.

2. You feel a burning sensation
It's likely that sensitive skin will feel itchy and tight. You may also feel it burning or stinging.

3. Your skin is very dry
Although it's not always the case, many people who have very dry skin find that their skin can be more sensitive than those whose skin is less dry. This is because very dry skin is more susceptible to sensitivity triggers and more prone to reactions.

4. Some food make you flush
You may find that you react to certain food you eat, which may lead to your face becoming flushed. This can be a sign of skin sensitivity. Try limiting your intake of alcohol, spicy food and coffee. The best way to work out if your skin is sensitive and irritable is to consult a dermatologist, who will assess your skin in person. It is recommended to visit a dermatologist or pharmacist if you are unsure or worries about any symptoms.

Overall Review
I like how this Calming Relief range can help to reduce redness especially around my nose area. That's not all, it also helps to replenish moisture around my nose area especially I have severe dryness around my nose area ever since I got back from Spartan Race Asia 2016. I love how it does not strip off any moisture on my skin and at the same time maintains some moisture level on my skin leaving my skin soft and supple at the same.

Best of all, this range does not come with toner which makes my skincare routine so much easier and faster! *yay* That's not all, Physiogel® moisturising creams and lotions contain pure and gentle ingredients. They’re free from fragrances, preservatives and colourants, making them suitable for even very dry and sensitive skin.

Say goodbye to dryness and redness! *winkz*
