#11 Movie Review: Hummingbird ❤

Thank you Churp Churp for giving me the opportunity to watch the Hummingbird starring Jason Statham. This time my ex-Form 6 classmate accompanied me since my sister was not free to watch with me. =/ Thank you KC! =)

Anyway, thank you for your popcorn treat! *yay*

Thank you Churp Churp for the invitation!

Jason Statham stars in "Hummingbird", a gangland thriller that marks the directorial debut of Oscar-nominated British screenwriter Steven Knight ("Eastern Promises"). Statham plays as a damaged ex-special forces soldier who finds himself trapped in London's criminal underworld. Initially convinced he is beyond redemption, he later assumes a new identity and becomes an avenging angel, seeking his own version of justice.

Synopsis
Homeless and on the run from a military court martial, a damaged ex-special forces soldier navigating London's criminal underworld seizes an opportunity to assume another man's identity -- transforming into an avenging angel in the process.

Review
I think this time I have to write a bit longer on the review part. Overall I find the movie is a bit boring. No climax in the movie. All I know that Joey (Jason) fell in love with a nun in the end. His motive was to kill Maxx Forrester who actually killed Isabel (no idea what is the relationship between Joey and Isabel). Joey went and work as a driver for a Chinese man who is a debt collector. His job was to collect the debt and money at the same and he became the attention of the policemen later on. The story ended by having Jason walking around with his bottle of beer/vodka.

Rate of this movie: 2/5
